Our Purpose

In February of 2008, Abigail's dad announced that their church would be having services at a Nursing Home every month.  Abigail went to her dad and asked if she, Rebekah, and Bethany could sing there when they went.  They were able to sing and be a part of the service.  It was a great opportunity for them, and the ladies and gentlemen enjoyed it.
They also had some opportunities to sing at Abigail's church for special services and things, and then at their grandparent's church some later on.

''One of the first songs we ever sang was a hymn called, 'He Leadeth Me' at a Mother-Daughter Banquet.

In 2010 we began to be able to sing in many more places than ever before.  The Lord has richly blessed our trio.  We are just three teenagers trying to serve the Lord by singing.  We want to be a blessing to others, old and young.  Our singing group may be just a small something to do for Jesus but Little is MUCH when God is in it!
We like to sing good old gospel songs about Jesus; songs that are pleasing to the Lord.  He is our main focus.
Our parents have raised us in Independent Baptist churches where the preachers have only used the King James Bible and have taught that there is only one way to Heaven, and that is through the blood of Jesus.  THERE IS NO OTHER WAY!''

Ephesians 2:8-10  "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

~I'll take the old time way, there's not one thing I'd change.  I've got this far with Him and with Him I'll go all the way.  I'll not back down and I'll not give in.  I've read the last chapter and I know who wins!  I'll run the last mile of the race in the old time way!~

  1. I love your new blog and I am soooo proud of all of you! I pray God will continue to bless you as you serve Him. May your purpose always be what it is now ... to give HIM the glory. Remember, if you walk in God's will one day at a time, every day, you will always BE in his will. Then, when the hard times come, there won't be any struggle as you will be able to turn your burden over to him immediately and claim his peace in everything that happens, good or bad. I love you! I’ll Take the Old Time Way

      [verse 1]
In this modern new world we live in today,
blood-bought believers are thought of as strange.
They say we’re living our lives in the past,
and without change and compromise, we will not last.
We’re set apart from the world and its ways.
I gave up that old life the day I was saved!

      [chorus]
I’ll take the old time way; there’s not one thing I’d change!
I’ve got this far with Him, and with Him I’ll go all the way.
I’ll not back down, and I’ll not give in. I’ve read the last chapter and I know who wins! I’ll run the last mile of the race in the old time way.

      [verse 2]
      So keep pressing on for the Lord and the right;
Though the battle is raging don’t give up the fight!
For now is the time and this is the place
To stand here as one and boldly proclaim:

      [bridge]
So we must stand strong; we must stand firm,
Watching and waiting for our Lord’s return!
I’ve made up my mind, until that day…

I’ll not back down, and I’ll not give in. I’ve read the last chapter and I know who wins. I’ll run the last mile of the race in the old time way…
I’ll take the old time way!
